The ZeroTech 3″ Sunshade threads directly into the objective of your Zerotech 50mm riflescope. A sunshade can greatly reduce glare experienced by the shooter, especially when the sun is low on the horizon.

1.) Remove the flip-up lens with your ZT multi-tool.
2.) Remove the adapter ring by hand if required.
TIP: It can be helpful to wear a rubber glove to help grip and remove the adapter ring. Sometimes the adapter ring will remain attached to the flip-up lens cover when it is removed. In which case this step can be skipped.
3.) Fit the sunshade and tighten firmly.
4.) If you wish to install the flip-up lens cover on the sunshade, simply thread the adapter ring and flip-up lens cover into the sunshade and secure with the ZT multi-tool.
